Good Job

I think you just need to work on the graphics, and then you'll have a top quality movie. The voice acting was very well done.

Heh

No, sprites aren't the most original idea, but this made me laugh. My favorite part was the "milkshake scene." Good work.

Cliche

These "Madness" clones are getting rediculous. Come up with something more original. You'll also get higher scores if you don't loop your movie. It also needed to be longer.

Needs work

I know that this is just a trailer, but you need to make the video much less grainy.

Great job

You did an excellent job of making a serious and dramatic Mario movie. Everything was well done.

Needs Polishing

There is a ton of potential in this movie. Your graphics, as far as the drawn aspects go, were good enough. I thought that your smoke a cloud effects were excellent. I shots of the fighters flying away from the camera definitely need work. I think you need to upgrade the artwork of the fighters, because they look like they've been "photo-chopped" into the animation. I also believe the voice-acting needs work. I would have liked it to be longer as well. Other then that, great job.

Pretty good

I am not a fan of this particular story, but I don't hold that against you in this review. The graphics were fairly good, but I think they still need polishing. I did like the "overview" shot of the Lars homestead, when Maul is running towards Owen. I also believe that the voice acting was decent but needs work. Other than those two points, the movie was pretty good. Keep up the good work.

Medocre

First off, I'd like to say that I respect the fact that you've stuck with and created a long series. I'd also like to say I respect the fact that you've created a 30 minute long episode, but I do not feel that this deserves a 5 (or a 10 in a review).
First off, the graphics. I gave you a 6 because I agree with another reviewer, that anime is cliched and over-used at this point. I do not "hate" anime and respect it as a real art form. Saying one feels that anime is overused is not "slanderous" it is a fact. Look at how many movies get great scores because they are done in a anime style, but are really only a medocre flash. On top of that, I believe that these graphics (anime or not) would have only garnered modest scores 4 years ago, nevermind compared to movies currently at the top of the portal today. I gave you a 5 in style because, like I said, I believe that anime is a cliche. I think that there was very little in the way of animation in this movie. A mouth moving, a finger wiggling, a head nodding or a background moving does not constitute a true animation in my book. I did not like how the characters faces did not appear in 80% of the movie, it makes you look lazy. Violence is a 7 for obvious reasons. For such a long movie, a pause/fast forward/rewind or scene select would have been nice. Hence the 1 in interactivity. A 1 in humor because I didn't find it too funny.
It's obvious you have a large fanbase, which I congratulate you on, but I think reviewers need to be more honest with their scoring. I also congratulate you on your completed series, but I just feel this doesn't equal a top quality movie.

Hmm

Let me start off by saying that I was a big fan of yours, and I still respect your work for the laughs it gave me 3 years ago. You've barely made any movies since the "One Ring to Rule Them All" series. I went back and watched One Ring to Rule Them All 2 a few days ago, and like G.I. Joe, it just doesn't hold up anymore. The only reason I mention that is because you haven't changed or improved anything in 3 years time. You need to improve your graphics, which are better than many peoples, but need to be updated to keep up with the current talent out there. Your jokes are the same jokes you've always been using. The characters are virtually always the same, no matter what movie it is. Another thing I've noticed is that besides the voices being annoying (and the same in every movie), the characters speeches tend to carry on for too long, becoming tiresome. I mean no disrespect. You used to be the undisputed king of the portal... 3 years ago. You need to improve your style. Good Luck.

Pretty good

I'll give a rundown. 8 in graphics because while they were good, they weren't the best. Style a 7 because its a pretty good movie, I definitely felt as if you were influenced by McFretN's CI: Unregulated, atleast in the opening scene. Obviously there was also an Aliens influence/reference. Sound a 7 because the voice acting could use a little pollishing. 8 in violence is obvious. 5 in interactivity because you included a handy scene select which I always like. 1 in humor. One thing I didn't like was that there was very little moviement in the characters, and a lot of the action seemed to be just "shakey cam." Except for the "3D" moments such as the tank turrent moving and such. I think you have skill, and if you just work on some areas, you could really have a top quality movie. I like Starcraft, so that is a plus. Good work.

LogFish responds:

I've never seen McFretN's thing you mentioned - but I remember his Brutality one, that blew me away back in the day!
I'll try and make the characters more fluid in the next one, thanks for all that!

I'm an old school member. I've been coming here before there was even any flash. I'm an artist, graphic designer and web designer. Feel free to email me, I like meeting new people.
